A Wedding Venue with Flair

This is a flexible venue where you can hold a reception dinner for up to 250 guests or up to 500 wandering, chatting and mingling with drinks and small plates.  You will find tables that are set up stylishly and elegantly when you enter the room.  From the table linens to the flowers to the candles everything will be perfect.  You can even have a special signature drink served that all of your friends will remember as one of the highlights of your day.

The Venue Highlights

The building is in Chicago’s South Loop neighborhood and dates all the way back to the 1800’s.  In its prior incarnation it was the Chicago Illuminating Company and has four large halls comprising 10,000 square feet of space.  You might want to hold your wedding and reception in the Alumina Room which has been the site of so many gorgeous weddings from a bride’s fantasy garden dream to an eclectic mix of gothic Star Wars.  The entire building has these magnificent hardwood floors that gleam everywhere you look and ceilings reaching up to 28 feet.

The Complete Package

The staff at the venue is more than willing to assist you with your event.  They work with some of Chicago’s top vendors and can put you in touch with planners, décor, florists, caterers, etc.  They will also go over the details of your event repeatedly until they have it down pat.  There will be nothing for you to do but enjoy your big day and glow with love.
